Administration taking steps to inculcate hygiene habits among school children: Anuradha Gupta

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 11: Director School Education, Jammu, Anuradha Gupta said that the department is taking various steps to inculcate the habit of cleanliness and hygiene among school children. She said that this while sending a supply of handwashing soaps to the govt. schools in presence of Dr. Arun Manhas, Project Director Samagra Shiksha.
Director Education said that various campaigns have been organized to create awareness about the SOPs of Covid-19 and the measures to prevent the spread of the novel Corona Virus. She added that demonstrations on regular handwashing and sanitization are being organized in association with UNICEF-India.
Anuradha Gupta said that the department is taking all necessary steps to provide quality education to students. She further revealed soaps are being provided to all the Government Schools where Mid-Day Meal is served to children so that they can exercise the practice of handwashing before taking food.
Arun Manhas urged the schools to maintain proper hygiene and follow all SOPs of Covid-19 once the schools are reopened.
