Agriculture Department Jammu holds DPC meeting for non-gazetted staff

Jammu, January 16:  The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of the Agriculture Department, under the directions of Director Agriculture Jammu, Shri Anil Gupta, convened today to consider promotion cases of non-gazetted employees (district level) of the Division Cadre Jammu.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary to Government, Agriculture Production Department, J&K UT, Shri Azhar Amin Zargar; Deputy Director Agriculture (Central) Jammu, Shri Sanjeev Rai Gupta; Chief Agriculture Officer Jammu, Shri Manohar Lal Sharma; CAO Udhampur, Shri Harbans Singh; CAO Reasi, Shri Vinod Kundal; CAO Samba, Shri Rakesh Khajuria; CAO Kathua, Shri Jatinder Kumar; CAO Rajouri, Shri Rajesh Verma; CAO Ramban, Shri Vinay Jandial; CAO Kishtwar, Shri Kushal Chandel; and CAO Poonch, Shri Jog Raj Salathia. The meeting was also attended by SMS Legal Section (DoAJ), Shri Santosh Bhat; Section Officers (Establishment DoAJ), Shri Raj Kiran Malhotra and Shri Roshan Lal, besides other concerned officers and officials of the department.

During the meeting, the DPC deliberated upon various promotion proposals and, after thorough scrutiny, cleared the promotion cases of Field Assistants-II, Field Assistants-III, GCO-equivalent posts, Junior Assistants, and Senior Assistants. The promotions were approved strictly in accordance with the prescribed recruitment rules and reservation policy at their respective roster points.
