Amitabh Bachchan Nostalgic, Reflects on Changing Times and Fading Memories

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan Reflects on Life, Memories, and Team Spirit Following Tragic Loss

Mumbai, Oct 25 : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took a reflective moment to share his thoughts on the passage of time and the evolving nature of people, culture, and memories. Writing on his blog, he observed, “Times change, the World changes… attitudes, habits change, culture changes… people change… they that were then, are not now… and soon they that are ‘now’ shall in time be in reference of the ‘then’.”

He emphasized the importance of treasuring old memories rather than dwelling on the past. “Lamentations from the ‘then’ keep echoing in the times of now… they shall simply remain a memory. Let them be in memory. Lamenting upon it shall be an exertive waste upon your system… Respect and enjoy it  they were such a delight ‘then’,” he wrote.

Big B also revisited the wisdom of his father, legendary poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, sharing verses that, even decades later, “still reverberate and have meaning… the old say the old, listen to the new… the new say the new, listen to the old.”

On a more somber note, Bachchan mourned the tragic loss of Jaipur Pink Panthers’ assistant manager Vedant Devadiga, who passed away at just 22 years old. “Our team Jaipur Pink Panthers, suddenly and tragically lost our Asst. Manager… most loved by the team, its players, and all… we have lost him,” he wrote.

Despite the heartbreaking news, the team chose to continue with their next match, honoring Vedant’s memory and channeling their grief into the game. “The team insisted on playing   for his memory… our youngest team member wore his name on his headband at the game… honoured and respect,” Bachchan shared.

Concluding his reflections, the megastar expressed his admiration for both Vedant and the team, extending his heartfelt respect and wishes.
