Anantnag Police Conduct Major Narco-Terror Operation, Seize Land Assets
Crackdown Targets Assets Linked to Arms, Explosives, and Narcotics Offenses
Jammu & Kashmir, Anantnag, Sept 18: Anantnag Police on Thursday attached immovable property connected to a high-profile narco-terror case registered at Police Station Mattan. The action comes as part of an ongoing crackdown targeting individuals and assets involved in arms, explosives, and narcotics-related offenses.
According to a police spokesperson, the property attachment is linked to FIR No. 57/2024, registered under Sections 7/25 of the Indian Arms Act, 13, 18, 39 of the UA(P) Act, Section 5 of the Explosive Substances Act, and Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act.
The seized property consists of 3 Kanals and 6 Marlas of land under Khasra No. 283 Min, Khewat No. 16, and Khata No. 155, located at Sangam Bijbehara. The land is registered in the name of Iqra Mushtaq, niece of the accused Firdous Ahmad Bhat.
The police emphasized that the attachment was carried out following due legal process and is aimed at curbing unlawful and anti-national activities. Anantnag Police reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining public safety, law, and order in the region.
