Andhra Pradesh to Become Hub for Knowledge and Creator Economy, Says CM Naidu

State focuses on AI, quantum tech, and global partnerships to empower youth and drive innovation

Andhra Pradesh, Feb 21 :  Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday outlined plans to transform the state into a knowledge and creator economy hub, emphasizing artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and futuristic technologies. Speaking at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in Delhi, Naidu highlighted the state’s tech savvy youth as a key asset for the next 25 years and stressed the importance of global collaborations to scale up innovation.

“Our goal is to build a knowledge hub focusing on AI, quantum computing, data centres, drone cities, and space cities. The youth remain our biggest strength, and we are seeking global partnerships to develop the creator economy,” Naidu said.

During the summit, he engaged with global tech leaders, including Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen, Autodesk AI Head Mike Haley, LEGO Education VP Tom Hall, and Vinod Khosla of Khosla Ventures, exploring collaborations in AI, clean energy, and innovation ecosystems.

Naidu also discussed clean energy projects with Saudi Aramco, encouraging expansion of solar initiatives in Andhra Pradesh. He proposed the establishment of AI Living Labs with NVIDIA, innovation partnerships under the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub, and AI, robotics, and quantum technology learning centres with IIT Tirupati and IISER Tirupati through the AP FIRST initiative.

Further initiatives include developing Global Capability Centres in design engineering, an Innovation Academy in Amaravati, and AI-driven smart governance solutions in collaboration with Quantela Inc. He also met with World Bank Digital AI Regional Director Mahesh Uttamchandani to explore AI applications in agriculture, healthcare, and industry.

Naidu’s vision positions Andhra Pradesh as a future ready state, leveraging technology, global partnerships, and youth talent to become a leader in the knowledge and creator economy.
