Anticipating Art 370’s return shows Mehbooba living in fool’s paradise: Kavinder

12-09-2022 : JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Monday slammed PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti over her baseless statements on restoration of Article 370 claiming that the former chief minister of J&K is living in fool’s paradise as abrogation of the aforesaid contentious Article of constitution is permanent and unchangeable.

While interacting with a delegation of BJP leaders from Telangana namely Emaji Koyalla, Tirupati, Malla Reddy and Bhavanrushi, the BJP stalwart leader said that Mehbooba, who is the president of the party which doesn’t hold the support of people to send two MPs to the Parliament, is talking about changing the situation in J&K by restoring Article 370.

Kavinder asked the PDP leader to take a cue from senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, who has categorically made it clear that restoration of Article 370 is impossible and he don’t want to misled people on this issue. He said that Azad’s assertion that Article 370 will never come back is true to the hilt and Mehbooba and all other opposition parties should understand this fact as soon as possible because this will help them to face reality rather than dwelling in dreams like the PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti.

The senior BJP leader, however, said that the stance taken by Ghulam Nabi Azad over the fate of Article 370 is rational and everyone should toe the same line while making the future strategies with regard to Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory as no power on earth can bring back this temporary provision of constitution which principally should have been abrogated much earlier than the BJP Government led by PM Modi has done the same on August 5, 2019.
