Timely and Transparent: 21-Day Investigation to Determine Veracity of Charges Against Rattan Lal Tickoo
25-09-2023 : Commissioner/Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department, Vikramjit Singh, has taken a significant step today by appointing Inderjeet, who currently serves as the Managing Director of SICOP/SIDCO, to conduct an official inquiry into the allegations levied against Rattan Lal Tickoo. These charges have been brought forward by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and have raised concerns within the government.
The appointment was formalized through an official order, which also designated Reyaz Hussain, the Director of Finance within the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, to provide support to the Enquiry Officer. His role will primarily involve the evaluation of any potential financial irregularities that may have occurred during the tenure of Rattan Lal Tickoo.
Additionally, Rakesh Singh Bhau, who currently holds the position of Divisional Manager of Finance at SICOP, has been appointed as the Presenting Officer in this inquiry. His responsibility will be to present relevant information and evidence during the course of the investigation.
The Enquiry Officer has been entrusted with the vital task of conducting a thorough and impartial investigation into the allegations against Rattan Lal Tickoo. Therefore, a strict deadline of 21 days has been imposed, within which the Enquiry Officer is expected to finalize the investigation and submit a comprehensive report of their findings to the government.
