Army Soldier Dies of Suspected Cardiac Arrest Along LoC in J&K’s Poonch
Naik Tilak Singh collapses while on duty in Krishna Ghati sector; Army pays tribute to the fallen soldier.
Mendhar/Jammu, Mar 16: An Indian Army soldier died after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest while on duty along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Monday.
The soldier has been identified as Naik Tilak Singh, who was deployed in the forward Nangi Takri area of the Krishna Ghati sector.
According to officials, the soldier was found unconscious while performing his duties on March 15. Despite immediate medical attention, he could not be revived.
In a message posted on social media, the White Knight Corps of the Indian Army paid tribute to the soldier, remembering his courage and dedication to duty.
The Corps said his commitment and bravery reflected the finest traditions of the Army and that his sacrifice would continue to inspire future generations.
