This brings India’s overall medal tally at the Asian Games to an impressive 38 medals, comprising 10 gold, 14 silver, and 14 bronze medals. Additionally, three Indian boxers—Preeti, Lovlina, and Narendra—excelled in their respective categories, contributing to the medal haul.

1. 1. Hockey: The Indian men’s hockey team faced off against Pakistan, delivering an outstanding performance that resulted in a resounding 10-2 victory for India. Captain Harmanpreet Singh stood out with an exceptional performance, scoring four goals. Other players who made significant contributions to the victory included Lalit Kumar Upadhyay, Mandeep Singh, Sumit, Varun Kumar, and Shamsher Singh.
