ATS Launches Midnight Raids in Mumbai Over Alleged Pakistan Terror Links

Mumbai ATS Raids Four Locations Over Suspected Pakistan-Based Terror Links

Mumbai, Mar 3: The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad carried out a series of late-night operations across the city, intensifying its probe into alleged cross-border terror connections.

Acting on specific intelligence inputs, teams conducted searches at three premises in Govandi and one in Kurla. Four individuals were detained and are currently being questioned, a senior official confirmed.

Investigators suspect the individuals were in touch with a Pakistan-based organisation that has been outlawed in India under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. During the searches, officers reportedly recovered material described as incriminating, which is now being examined as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Officials said the questioning is focused on establishing the nature and extent of the suspects’ alleged links with the banned outfit. Further investigation is in progress.
