Azad Pledges Legislative Safeguards for Job and Land Rights, Promises Restoration of Roshni Scheme

Azad Advocates for Fairness and Equality, Urges Public to Reject Exploiters and Choose Progressive Leadership

Jammu, 12-04-2024 : Chairman of DPAP, Ghulam Nabi Azad, issued a fervent plea to the public, urging them to resist the influence of individuals known for exploiting the masses. Speaking at a public gathering in Thatri, Kishtwar, where he rallied support for the party’s Lok Sabha candidate, G M Saroori, Azad implored the people to throw their support behind Saroori and the values he represents.

Highlighting the pressing need for change, Azad called on voters to endorse a candidate who upholds principles of fairness and equality, regardless of caste or religion. He stressed the importance of electing leaders committed to serving the needs of all constituents and fostering an environment of inclusivity and mutual respect.

Azad emphasized, “We must vote for the candidate who will ensure justice for people of all religions. My track record is clear – we have never discriminated against anyone.” He reiterated his party’s mission to uplift the poor and amplify their voices, contrasting it with the exploitation carried out by other parties in the name of religion.

Addressing the neglect faced by the Chenab Valley, Azad expressed empathy, stating, “While others have merely exploited their votes and done nothing in return, we have actively worked to build colleges, roads, schools, universities, hospitals, and gardens.” He pledged to continue this progress with the support of the people.

Referring to his advocacy for Article 370 and statehood in Parliament, Azad acknowledged the government’s agreement to restore statehood but stressed the ongoing need to strive for full statehood. He urged for intensified efforts and unwavering support from the public to achieve this goal.

Azad assured that if people support DPAP’s mission, the party will introduce legislation in the State Assembly to safeguard the job and land rights of locals. Additionally, he pledged to restore the Roshni scheme, which primarily benefited the underprivileged.

Encouraging voters to make informed choices based on candidates’ track records, Azad underscored the importance of supporting those genuinely dedicated to serving the community’s interests.
