Balloon Carrying PIA Inscription Recovered by J&K Police
PIA-Inscribed Balloon Seized in Rajouri, No Suspicious Components Found
Rajouri, Mar 3: Police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district recovered a balloon resembling an aircraft that carried the inscription of Pakistan International Airlines, officials said on Tuesday.
The object was noticed within the jurisdiction of Teryath Police Post, following which personnel rushed to the spot and secured it. Authorities later confirmed that the balloon like structure did not contain any electrical or electronic devices.
Preliminary examination indicated no immediate threat, though officials said further verification is underway. More details are expected as the matter is being reviewed by the local police.
