Bengaluru Bulls Extend Winning Streak to Three in PKL 12
Deepak Sankar shines with a High Five while Alireza Mirzaian leads the raiding effort as Bulls notch third consecutive win in PKL 12
In the opening clash of the Jaipur leg of PKL 12, Bengaluru Bulls secured a commanding 28-23 win over Jaipur Pink Panthers at the SMS Indoor Stadium on Friday. The victory marks the Bulls’ third consecutive win in the season.
Deepak Sankar’s stellar defensive display included a High Five, while Alireza Mirzaian spearheaded the raiding department with eight points. Nitin Kumar scored eight points for the Pink Panthers but lacked adequate support from his teammates.
The Bulls set the tone early, with Mirzaian scoring first, followed by a tackle from Sankar on Nitin Kumar. Despite early resistance from Ali Samadi and Deepanshu Khatri, the Bulls gradually pulled ahead. Sankar’s two Super Tackles and his first-half High Five allowed Bengaluru to dominate, leading 16-9 at halftime.
In the second half, Jaipur attempted a comeback, with Nitin Kumar scoring early, but the Bulls maintained control through key contributions from Mirzaian and Satyappa Matti. Yellow cards to Deepanshu Khatri hindered the Pink Panthers’ momentum. Bengaluru Bulls kept chipping away at their lead and closed the match strongly, with Satyappa recording his fourth tackle of the night.
Bengaluru Bulls’ performance in Jaipur reinforces their aggressive gameplay this season, keeping them in strong contention in PKL 12.
