Bharatiya Janata Party passes political resolution Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu, 30-12-2023 :
1) Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party expresses its gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for leading the country for Nine and Half glorious years which have witnessed the transformation of the country and has brought it on the verge of becoming Vishav Guru.
India under the visionary leadership of Shri Narendra Modi Ji has emerged as a decisive farsighted and strong Nation. The socio-economic policies of the Government, infrastructural interventions, and a model of people-oriented good governance with the spirit of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas has empowered each section of the society and most importantly the deprived, marginalized, and disadvantaged.
We all resolve to work at the grassroots level as soldiers of the party to strengthen the movement of the Hon’ble Prime Minister to build an empowered and Atam Nirbhar Bharat.
2) Recent Assembly Elections
All Indians share such a deep connect with the pro-poor welfare policies and innovative vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji that the ‘Modi Magic’ shattered all the records of victory in the recent Assembly Elections where in while the party could wrest Rajasthan and Chattisgarh from the Congress and retain Madhya Pradesh with convincing margins, in Tilangana and Mizoram ,the party handsomely increased its vote share.
The convincing victory in the recent Assembly Elections is a testimony to the unflinching support that the BJP enjoys under the towering leadership of Yashasvi Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
The BJP Jammu and Kashmir Unit resolves to reach out to the people at the last mile and ensure that the people of UT also contribute in the expected historical victory of the party in the 2024 Parliamentary Elections going by the people’s faith in Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
3) Article 370
A watershed moment in the history of the country. The country’s quest for Ek Nishan, Ek Vidhan, Ek Pradhan – Ek Bharat fructified under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji on 5th August, 2019 with the Parliament abrogating Article 370 undoing the Nehruvian Himalayan blunder. The Hon’ble Supreme Court’s verdict upholding the constitutionality of the abrogation of Article 370 is a landmark welcome decision putting a stamp of finality paving the way for strengthening the Nation.
Jammu & Kashmir has seen turmoil, upheaval and tragedies. The judgement has further reinforced the Nation’s resolve to pave the way of New hope, New rejuvenated aspirations for the people of J&K ending an era of exploitative politics and devolving equitable rights in J&K to all irrespective of caste, creed, gender, religion, region or sub region. Fuelling the urge of Naya Jammu Kashmir- a better brighter prosperous peaceful J&K where all will live in harmony togetherness and no discrimination.
4) Political Reservation for Women
The Parliament has passed the Women Reservation Bill in the Parliament and the State Assemblies to the extent of 33%. This will ensure the major participation of women in the administration and the political will of the country and Jammu and Kashmir. The wider representation given to women in the state assembly and other representative bodies will ensure that the benefits will go to the root level to the women folk.
5) OBC Reservation.
Parliament has also passed the OBC’s reservation which will again ensure the benefits coming to the other backward classes, which had been the marginalized society. Though the benefit of reservation had been given to OBC’s and rest of the country but because of the situation created by Article 370, the benefits were not given to the OBC’s in Jammu and Kashmir. With the nomination of other backward classes in Jammu and Kashmir finally the justice has done to them.
6) Nomination in Assembly
The provision has been made a nomination of one member from PoJK displaced persons and two members from Kashmir migrants (Including one Women in the Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory). The nomination will ensure the participation of these two segments which have been the victim of hatred, separatism and terrorism. The said decision is welcome by the party and also the displaced persons of PoJK as well as the migrant community.
7) Tourism v/s Terrorism
Tourism has seen in large influx after the improvement of security scenario Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. People of Jammu and Kashmir region have welcome the new increase in number of tourism by many fold whether it is religious tourism of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi yatra or leisure tourism in Kashmir. With the increase in the tourism the financial positions of thousands of people associated with the tourism has increased.
8) Development Projects.
Jammu & Kashmir has seen major development under various projects including the Smart cities, the Sabar Mati river project on Tawi, the lake project and in the coming times with the completion of these projects there will be ease to the life and the major development of both Jammu and Srinagar.
9) Investment.
Under the new regime and in view of return of Jammu and Kashmir to the normalcy there had been huge investments from outside to Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The recent amendment to the land laws making the ease of allotment as a halmark as per the consolidation of the investment in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
10) Power Sector
After the erratic supply of the power for few months though the position of power supply has stabilized in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory giving a healing touch to the public both in Jammu as well as Kashmir. Similar is the position to the supply of water also.
11) Achievements in Space Technology
During this period India has emerged as world leader in Science and Technology by successfully launching of Chandaryan, and landing of Chandaryan on the surface of the moon at a cost which is fraction of what is invested by other countries. Similarly the mission to sun (Aditya1) has also opened new opportunities in science and technology in research in India.
12) INDI – ALLIANCE
INDI – Alliance which is promoted and promulgated by congress and is having the support from its past allies whether National Conference or PDP or such like persons is an alliance of opportunism and have been a group of the political persons who had been supporting separatism in Jammu and Kashmir whether legally politically or socially and the people of Jammu & Kashmir have now realized their true faces and in the coming parliamentary elections these forces will be totally decimated. The people of Jammu & Kashmir have full faith in the leadership of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and are supportive of his efforts of restoring peace, normalcy and ensuring economic resurgence of J&K by equitable empowerment of all irrespective of caste, creed, ethnicity and religion.
13) Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra – an initiative of Modi Government
The initiative of Modi Government ( Modi Ki Guarantee) has largely reached far-flung area of including in Jammu and Kashmir UT. The people have majorly gained under Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra it has taken the guarantee of the Government door steps of the far-flung areas by educating the people about the schemes of welfare of Modi Government in the Vikshit Bharat lack of people have joined the development agenda as guaranteed by Hon’ble Prime Minster Modi Ji and have registered under various schemes of Modi Government. Jan Samvad another brilliant move of the party was to associate in Jan Samvad wherein, the scheme of the Government was taken to the common man at micro level and ensuring that the benefits of the schemes or given to the masses.
14) Vishwa Karma Scheme
Scheme started by the Modi Government in the shape of Vishwa Karma Scheme wherein artisans were given the benefit of getting training in their chosen trade and during the period of the training they will be given the monetary as also loans to support their trade and given them better opportunity to earn their livelihood with new acquired skills & tools.
15) Anand Marriage Act
The promulgation of Anand Marriage Act in J&K is a welcome step in consonance with the aspirations of the Sikh community.
16) Criminal Acts amended
The Government has disbanded the old archaic British system of criminal procedure by bringing Bharatiya Nyaya (Second) Sanhita, 2023 bill, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha (Second) Sanhita, 2023 and Bharatiya Sakshya (Second) Bill (BSB) 2023. These new criminal bills will free people from colonial procedures and aim to overhaul the British-era criminal laws that continued to govern the criminal justice system in India
for the last seven decades.
17) Ram Mandir Nirman
After struggling and fight of 5 Century finally, the Ram Mandir has constructed in Ayodhya, and will be dedicated to the public on 22nd of January 2024, by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. This is victory of ours on forcibly occupation of religious spaces by the enemies of humanity. The construction of the temple is historic and will be celebrated throughout the country because of the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister it has finally taken practical shape.
18) Resolution
Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party resolves that there should be no talks with Pakistan or the agents of Pakistan including the persons or organizations which are preponders or supporters of separatism in Jammu and Kashmir. Terror and talks cannot go together.
Jammu & Kashmir BJP further resolves that the party will strive for an absolute majority in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory legislative assembly and that there will be a Chief Minister from Bharatiya Janata Party in J&K.
It is also resolved that the Government of Bharatiya Janata party in J&K will work to instill the feeling of confidence and peace in the masses and to promote nationalistic spirit to fight with the terrorism and preponders of terrorism and separatism.
Bharatiya Janata Party resolves that those responsible for the exodus of the minorities from Kashmir in 1989-90 under tragic circumstances should be identified and prosecuted.
Though normalcy is fast returning to J&K. Pakistan is still trying to destabilize J&K by subversive activities and unleashing a reign of terror on the soil of J&K. The recent spurt in terrorist activities in Rajouri and Poonch district are reflection of the dubious design of the hostile neighbour. The BJP J&K Unit resolves to stand by the Armed Forces in their relentless brave effort to root out terrorism from Jammu & Kashmir and defeating the nefarious designs of Pakistan.
It is further resolved that while the party will support all measures required to curb terrorism in J&K it will reach out to the people and win their hearts and minds.
