Big B posts emotional note on his blog; family celebrations draw attention amid recent speculation
Mumbai, Nov 17 : Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has expressed his love and blessings for granddaughter Aaradhya, who celebrates her 14th birthday today. A day ahead of the occasion, the legendary actor shared a heartfelt message on his blog, reflecting his affection for the young Bachchan.
“Blessings on the eve of the little one, Aaradhya… the child in us all grows with time and we wish them the mostest… we pray the same. And today is the dawn of the loved one’s birth… all blessings,” Big B wrote in an emotional note.
The birthday celebration comes shortly after Amitabh Bachchan marked his own special day. Recently, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared a nostalgic throwback picture of Big B and a young Aaradhya—showing the superstar taking a selfie as his granddaughter cuddled close.
“Happy Birthday dearest Pa-Dadajiii. Love and God Bless Always,” she captioned the post.
Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan, who married in 2007 and welcomed Aaradhya in November 2011, were in the spotlight in recent weeks following rumours surrounding their relationship. Speculation intensified after Aishwarya and Aaradhya attended Anant Ambani’s wedding without the rest of the Bachchan family. However, the chatter cooled after the couple made several joint appearances soon after.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan continues hosting the 17th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati and is gearing up for major upcoming projects, including sequels to Kalki 2898 AD and Brahmastra.
