BJP for meaningful engagement with ReKs/ReJs/Dailywagers/NHM employees
RS Pathania, Vikas Choudhary listen to the public grievances
11-01-2023 : A host of delegations pertaining to ReKs/ReJs/Dailywagers/NHM employees called on the BJP’s grievance cell at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Ranbir Singh Pathania, Former MLA & BJP Spokesperson monitored the proceedings of grievance camp. Vikas Choudhary, Secretary BJP during the proceedings, accompanied Pathania.
It was impressed that we need to be fair and just while dealing with these people. There are wounds which have festered for decades and decades should be cured and wiped off by now. BJP leaders underscored the need for channelizing the best of the energies and potential of the youth and ending an realm of uncertainty over it. We need to take a humanitarian view of the matter. It was also impressed that the stalemate regarding PM Package employees and reserved category employees needs to be worked out. Pathania welcomed the statement of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir whereby it was said that directions for release of pay of majority of the employees have been given.
It was impressed that much talked of transfer policy also needs to be rolled out at the earliest.
ReKs called for increase of honorarium and lessening of the regularization period.
NYCs called for rolling out a comprehensive regularization policy as well as honorarium. Daily wagers also demanded immediate regularization, NHM workers also wanted acting upon a policy already drafted by JK government. More so, many of the states have regularized these people on the sanctioned cadre strength of the department of health and medical education.
These are experienced and qualified people whose potentials could not be allowed to run waste.
At the last, it was assured that all means and possibilities should be explored to ensure a final, workable solution in line with the settled legal position .
Selected Junior Statistical Assistants (JSAs) called for immediate issuance of joining letters. They have been selected and CID verifications performed since almost one year. Pathania called for immediate issuance of appointment orders to them as further delay is brewing frustration amongst them.
Amongst other general issues pertaining to drinking water, electricity, labd compensation, NABARD roads, a wide rainbow of deputations called on in the BJP office with references and telephone calls to concerned officials.
