BJP is fast losing ground in J&K because of its failure and anti-people policies: Rattan Lal Gupta
Restoration of Statehood is the only solution to safe people of J&K and Nation.
Jammu October 2nd:- Senior leader and Provincial President Jammu, JKNC, Rattan Lal Gupta said that the BJP is fast losing ground in Jammu and Kashmir because of its anti-people and dictatorial policies, denial of Statehood, failure to address unemployment, rising prices, and deliberate discrimination against the region. The people have seen through their hollow promises and are ready to give them a befitting reply.
In a press statement issued at Sher-e- Kashmir Bhavan, Jammu Rattan Lal Gupta said that the L.G administration, acting as a tool of the Centre, is deliberately creating roadblocks and not giving wholeheartedly cooperating with the popular Government. This confrontational approach is worsening the condition of J&K, turning the situation from bad to worse.
Mr Gupta emphasized that BJP’s policy of weakening democratic institutions and undermining the people’s mandate is harmful and unacceptable J&K has already suffered for decades, and this continued denial of rights is nothing short of political vendetta.
The people of J&K are no longer fooled by false narratives and propaganda. They have seen the real face of the BJP, which thrives on exploitation, injustice, and suppression. The fast erosion of BJP’s base in J&K is a direct consequence of its arrogance and betrayal, Mr Gupta.
Gupta strongly demanded immediate restoration of Statehood and full cooperation with the elected Government. Let the Centre be informed- if the denial of Statehood continues and the rights of people are trampled upon, it will only lead to uncertainty and alienation among the masses, for which the BJP and the Centre will be solely responsible. The people of J&K deserve peace, dignity, and justice. The only way forward is to respect their democratic aspirations without further delay.
