BJP Jammu District President Vinay tours Bahu Fort, holds Public Darbar

28-10-2021: Assuring that the Modi government at the centre is committed to solving the problems being faced by the people, BJP Jammu District President Vinay Kumar Gupta, along with local Councillor Sharda Kumari, undertook an extensive tour of Ward No.47, Bahu Fort and its adjoining areas in Gandhi Nagar Assembly Constituency.

During this tour, Vinay also held  Janta Darbar in Bahu Fort, interacted with the inhabitants and listened to their grievances. The locals apprised the problems being faced by them and stressed upon him in the presence of Sharda Kumari to look into the matters on a priority basis and help in solution at the earliest.

Vinay listened to the public grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine demands will be fulfilled in a time-bound manner and no one will be deprived of any facility. Gupta also inspected the ongoing works at different places in the Ward. He also visited adjoining areas and took note of the need to upgrade the basic infrastructure in the locality including constructions of lanes, drains, roads, provision of drinking water etc.

Vinay Gupta also highlighted various welfare schemes launched by the  Prime Minister Narender Modi to provide benefits to the people for the improvement of their economic and social conditions. He further stated that centrally sponsored schemes like ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ is for girls for their socially and financially self-reliance through education, ‘PM Ujjwala Yojana is to provide free LPG connections to women under the BPL category. Similarly,  Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Suraksha Bima Yojna with Rs.2 lakh insurance cover, Atal Pension Yojna, PM Ayushman Bharat Yojna with special provisions for J&K people, PM Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojna, PM Awas Yojna, PM Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojna and Swacch Bharat Yojna, are few such schemes which are benefitting a large population in India. He said that BJP is working on the principle of  ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, Sab ka Vishwas aur Sabka Paryas’ and there is no discrimination with any citizen based on region, caste, creed, gender. All are treated equally at all levels and in all matters.

Vinay Gupta also appreciated the work done by local Councillor Sharda Kumari in his Ward.
