BJP misrule pushed J&K into dark era, NC ray of hope: Babu Rampaul

'Will provide job to youth, curb inflation': Former Minister

Jammu:-08-01-23: Former Minister and Zonal President JKNC, Babu Rampaul has slammed BJP for pushing J&K into the dark era where everybody is unhappy and restless under the present regime and eagerly waiting for conduct of Assembly elections to get their popular government.

Babu Rampaul said this while addressing the zonal meeting here today. He was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Former MLA and Sr NC leader Qazi Jalal-ud-din was guest of honour.

He expressed that NC did everything for the benefit of the masses and; ensured all round and equitable development. But what BJP did in the last seven years, he questioned and added that poor people were made to run from pillar to post for basic necessities during the direct and proxy rule of BJP during these years.

“The law and order situation has deteriorated, the business community is incurring losses, unemployment rate is highest in the country, corruption and scams are happening everywhere, administrators & bureaucrats are not being held accountable. This is the state of affairs in J&K,” Rampaul said.

He exhorted upon his cadre to launch a full throttle campaign and reach out the masses explaining what they got during NC rule and what they were getting now. “It is our duty to tell the people that peace and prosperity comes with social bonding not divisive politics. Ask the people to support our party wholeheartedly to revive the good old days of NC rule in J&K,” he asked the cadre.

Babu Rampaul also gave a message to people of J&K that NC leadership will work for creating more and more employment opportunities for youth and also take measures to control the inflation thus bringing succour to aggrieved masses.

He also called upon the cadre to strengthen their booth level network for upcoming Assembly elections.

Those who spoke in the meeting include, Zonal Secretary Dr Vikas Sharma, Sham Lal Mehra, Sandesh Shaan, BD Dalhotra, Som Raj Taroch, Arvind Singh Jamwal, Sardar Sureet Singh Sassan, Yash Paul, Birbal, Prem Kumar and others.
