BJP Urges Election Commission to Announce Dates for Assembly Polls in Jammu and Kashmir

Ravinder Raina: BJP Ready for Political Battle in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Polls

17-06-2023 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expressed its readiness for assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and has urged the Election Commission to announce the dates for the polls in the Union territory. Ravinder Raina, the president of the Jammu and Kashmir BJP, made these remarks during a party rally. He responded to accusations made by former chief minister Omar Abdullah, who claimed that the BJP was avoiding elections. Raina, with folded hands, requested the Election Commission to promptly announce the election dates.

Raina expressed confidence in the BJP’s ability to form the government in Jammu and Kashmir. He attributed this confidence to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has worked towards peace in the region and the welfare of its people. Raina emphasized that the BJP is fully prepared for the upcoming assembly elections and believes that the people of Kashmir will vote wholeheartedly for the BJP this time. He mentioned the positive impact of Modi’s initiatives aimed at uplifting the poor and underprivileged, which he believes will resonate with the people of Kashmir and drive their support for the BJP.

Furthermore, Raina asserted that the BJP is prepared for all elections, including Lok Sabha, assembly, and local bodies. He urged people not to be afraid, emphasizing that the final decision lies with the voters. Raina expressed confidence that the BJP will form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir. He launched the party’s “Har Ghar Chalo” campaign, which aims to work towards the welfare of the poor and ensure that every individual feels that the government is serving their interests and providing justice.

Raina also focused on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, expressing the party’s desire to win seats from Kashmir. He appealed to the people of Kashmir to give the BJP a chance, promising development, welfare, communal harmony, and brotherhood as their priorities.

In his interaction with reporters after the rally, Raina attributed the BJP’s popularity in Jammu and Kashmir to the peace brought about by Prime Minister Modi. He emphasized that Modi’s efforts for the welfare of the people have resonated positively in the region.

Raina also addressed Omar Abdullah’s statement, highlighting that elections are announced and conducted by the Election Commission, not by the prime minister or any political party. This reinforced the BJP’s position that they are ready for elections and are awaiting the announcement of dates by the Election Commission.

Raina’s statements at the rally showcased the BJP’s readiness for assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, their confidence in forming the government, and their commitment to the welfare of the people. They emphasized the positive impact of Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives and called for the support of the people in upcoming elections.
