Building with Six Shops and 19 Rooms Gutted in Flames in Bhalla Market

03-04-2023 : Officials reported that a multi-storied building consisting of six shops and 19 rooms in the main market Bhalla, located 15 km from Bhaderwah town in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, was engulfed in flames on Monday at approximately 1.40 pm. Although the building was damaged, no occupants were injured in the incident.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, as stated by Sub Divisional Police Officer (Bhadarwah) Wasim Mehmood. However, police personnel, fire tenders, and locals worked together to extinguish the fire, preventing a potential catastrophe in the densely populated area.
