CBI Registers case against then AGM of SBI on the Allegation of Possessing of Disproportionate Assets

 

The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case on a complaint from State Bank of India against the then AGM, Civil, State Bank of India, LHO, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) on the allegations of possessing Disproportionate Assets. It was alleged that during the period from 01.04.2017 to 31.12.2018, the accused had made huge/multiple cash deposits amounting to Rs. 2.51 Crore (approx) in the bank accounts of self as well as his family members. It was further alleged that at the end of said check period, the bank balance in the said bank accounts was Rs. 6.98 Crore (approx), and 03 immovable assets were also found. It was also alleged that the said accused had acquired the assets disproportionate to his known sources of income to the tune of Rs. 468.45 lakh (DA percentage was 1488%) approx.

Searches are being conducted today at the premises of the accused located at Bhopal.

Investigation is continuing.
