CCI expresses profound grief over Martyrdom of three brave hearts in Kokernag encounter
Urges Govt to take strenuous steps to eliminate terrorism in Kashmir Valley
Jammu, 14-09-2023 : The Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Jammu, has deeply saddened and mourned the tragic martyrdom of three valiant officers in an encounter that occurred in the Kokernag area of Anantnag district.
In this connection a meeting was held at Chamber House under the chairmanship of Arun Gupta, President CCI Jammu in which office bearers of Jammu Chamber Rajiv Gupta,Munish Gupta,Rajesh Gupta,Rajesh Gupta were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Arun Gupta expressed his condolences and solidarity with the families of the martyred officers during this hour of immense pain and distress. He stated, “The entire nation stands firmly with the families of these martyred officers, sharing their grief. Their sacrifice serves as a stark reminder of the challenges our brave soldiers and police officers face while protecting our borders and maintaining law and order.”
Mr. Gupta said “The nation lost three of its finest heroes in this unfortunate incident, including Army Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhancok, and Deputy Superintendent of Police Humayun Bhat. These fearless officers made the supreme sacrifice while defending our country and maintaining peace in the region. Their unwavering dedication and courage in the line of duty are an inspiration to us all. Their loss is immeasurable, and their memory will forever be etched in our hearts.”
Mr. Gupta further urged the government to take strenuous steps to eliminate terrorism in the Kashmir Valley. He emphasized the need for a collective effort to ensure the safety and security of our citizens.
The Jammu Chamber extended its heartfelt condolences to the families of Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhancok, and Deputy Superintendent of Police Humayun Bhat and prayed for their eternal peace. “We salute the bravery and dedication of these officers and remain committed to supporting our armed forces and law enforcement agencies in their tireless efforts to safeguard our nation,” he added.
