Centre Launches Nationwide Preparedness Drive Ahead of Amarnath Yatra and Monsoon Season

New Delhi, June 23: The Central Government has intensified coordination among security agencies, disaster management authorities and state administrations as India enters a crucial period marked by the annual pilgrimage season and the advance of the southwest monsoon across large parts of the country.

Senior officials from multiple ministries reviewed preparedness measures during a series of meetings held over the past two days.
