Chief Justices for the high courts in Gujarat, Tripura, Gauhati, J&K, and Ladakh are notified by the government

12-02-2023 : The appointments of four Chief Justices of High Courts of various states and Union Territories were notified by the Central Government on Sunday.

A notification of Justice Sonia Giridhar Gokani’s promotion as Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court was issued by the Ministry of Law and Justice. Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court is Justice Sandeep Mehta, a judge from the Rajasthan High Court.

Justice N. Kotiswar Singh, Judge, Gauhati High Court, to Chief Justice, High Court of J&K and Ladakh, and Justice Jaswant Singh, Judge, Orissa High Court, to Chief Justice, Tripura High Court.
