Citrus plantation drive held to mark Horticulture week in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, JULY 14: On the first day of the horticulture week, Horticulture Department today launched the 1st phase of the Rainy season plantation drive in the block Dhrabshalla.

The drive, launched to cover 200 Kanal land in Dugga and Badhat  Panchayats, was launched in presence of BDC chairperson, Suraj Prakash, and DDC member Ashok Kumar.

The HDO Kishtwar informed that a total of 600-800 Kanal low-lying areas of Dhrabshalla,  Thakrai, Trigam, and Palmar blocks will be covered with high-yielding varieties of citrus fruit plants during this rainy season in a phased manner.
