Clean India Campaign Organized by GDC Dudu Basantgarh

09-12-2021: In the series of activities organized by the college, the Clean India campaign has been planned under the aegis of @75 years of independence under Azadi ka Amrit Mahatsov to spread the awareness among the people to clean your localities and also water bodies too. In this context, our college also takes the charge to clean the water bodies of the surrounding area of the college with a maximum of five water bodies to be covered. Before the start of this drive Principal of the college addressed the students with inspirational, motivational lectures that to serve society by any means is real patriotism. He also stressed the sustainable use of water resources.

The volunteer students of the college have shown real enthusiasm in this cleanliness drive and made it successful. On the spot, so many unwanted materials was collected like polythene, cow dung, and deadwood, etc. The polythene was a bonfire and decomposable material was dumped at the possible place. Alum was also used for the purification of water. Students also motivated the general public of the areas to keep their water bodies neat and clean in response to which the general public praised the college for such a noble cause.

The event was organized and monitored under the precious supervision of Ms. Aastha Gupta, a Lect. Department of Environmental Science. She distributed surgical face masks and surgical hand gloves to the students.
