CM Yogi Adityanath Listens to Public Grievances During Janta Darshan in Lucknow

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister directs officials to act promptly on encroachment, threats and property fraud complaints while assuring justice for affected citizens

LUCKNOW, July 13: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday held a public interaction programme in Lucknow, where he listened to citizens’ concerns and instructed government officials to ensure quick resolution of their complaints.

During the Yogi Adityanath Janta Darshan Lucknow programme, several people approached the chief minister with issues related to land disputes, illegal occupation, threats and financial fraud. The chief minister assured them that their grievances would be examined seriously and directed concerned departments to take immediate steps.

Officials said Adityanath emphasised that complaints involving illegal encroachments must be investigated without delay. He instructed authorities to verify the facts on the ground and initiate strict legal action against those found responsible for unlawful activities.

The chief minister also addressed complaints related to intimidation and threats. He directed the police administration to act firmly against offenders, reiterating that criminal elements would not be allowed to disturb law and order in the state.

Adityanath stressed the need for speedy investigations in cases where citizens face harassment or criminal threats. He said that prompt action should be taken so that victims receive justice and those involved in wrongdoing face appropriate punishment.

During the grievance hearing, a resident raised a complaint against a builder accused of selling the same flat to multiple buyers through separate sale deeds in Ghaziabad, Meerut and Noida. Taking note of the matter, the chief minister instructed officials to conduct a detailed inquiry.

He directed authorities to take strict action if the allegations against the builder were proven true and ensure that affected buyers receive justice. The officials were asked to handle the matter with urgency and follow legal procedures to protect the interests of victims.

The Janta Darshan programme is part of the Uttar Pradesh government’s effort to establish direct communication between citizens and the administration. Through such interactions, people can directly bring their concerns before the chief minister, who then assigns responsibility to relevant departments for resolution.

The chief minister has repeatedly instructed officials across the state to prioritise public grievances and ensure that administrative processes remain transparent and responsive.

The latest interaction in Lucknow once again highlighted the state government’s focus on quick grievance redressal, strict action against illegal activities and strengthening public trust in governance.
