Congress condemns Attack on Tara Chand
Jammu, Oct 03: Congress has asked the police to take stern action under the law against the culprits involved in the alleged incident of attempt to cause bodily harm to the former Dy. Chief Minister and INC Candidate from Chhamb Shri Tara Chand, on October 01, late evening at his residence in his native village.
Strongly condemning the incident J&K PCC Sr. Vice President and Chief Spokesperson Mr. Ravinder Sharma has expressed great concern over such an incident at his residence, Chak Malal on the evening of voting day -1st Oct. when some persons allegedly carrying weapons, tried to enter his house with the intension to cause bodily harm to Shri Tara Chand. The matter was reported to the police immediately and to the Election Commission, however, appropriate action is still awaited in the matter. It is a matter of great concern, he added that the party demands stern action in the matter without delay.
