Congress remembers Kargil martyrs on victory
Jammu,July 26-Paying rich tributes to the Kargil martyrs, JKPCC said that our brave soldiers taught a lesson to Pakistan for its treachery but we paid a heavy price to recover our own territory, while questioning was it not major intelligence failure.
On the occasion of Kargil victory day, Congress held a prayer meeting at PCC HQ Jammu under the chairmanship of working president Raman Bhalla and remembered the valour and sacrifices of the Indian jawans and paid rich tributes to the martyrs and all those disables, injured or suffered to retrieve our territory, treacherously occupied by pakistani forces and lauded the forces for teaching a teething lesson to Pakistan but questioned was it not a major intelligence failure like Pulwama.
We had to pay a heavy price to recover our own territory, as we lost 527 brave jawans while 1363 were left injured, disabled or incapacitated, due to a treacherous act of Pakistan especially pakistani army, when India under the stewardship of Prime Minister A B Vajpayee ji was leading a Lahore bus mission for peace and friendship between two neighbours.
Pakistan and it’s army were never sincere to the peace and friendship efforts of India since partition and indulged in misadventures, time and again, to be taught a lesson, every time by our brave forces. Pakistan can never forget the humiliating defeat and her division in 1971war when 93000 Pak forces surrendered before Indian forces and later begged for peace after signing a ‘surrender treaty at Shimla” conceding the bilateral nature of all outstanding issues between two countries, including Jammu and Kashmir.
However, a question haunts every Indian, every time, as to how such a major intelligence failure took place that our forces were caught unaware and had to fight a very tough battle under very odd situations paying heavy price of lives but came out victorious due to their bravery.
Again there was another major intelligence failure when Pulwama took place that a convoy carrying over 2500 jawans could be intruded by a solitary car carrying huge explosives, causing huge loss of our jawans and shaking the conscious and confidence of every Indian that such an incident could happen against known dangers &.threats.
These questions remain unanswered and nobody is ready to own the responsibility or feel sorry to the nation especially to those martyrs and their families who lost their precious souls.
We are always proud of our brave and patriotic armed forces whose commitment and dedication to the nation remains unmatchable in the world and we always salute to those who have sacrificed their lives and always protected the fellow countrymen and ensured the territorial integrity of the nation.
