Police launch probe into tragic fall from steel bridge in Chatroo area
Kishtwar, Nov 8: A tragic incident occurred in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district on Saturday when a contractor lost his life after falling from a newly constructed steel bridge in the Chatroo area, officials said.
According to police, the deceased identified as Shakir Ahmed, a resident of Doda district fell from the bridge and died on the spot.
Following the incident, a police team reached the location, took custody of the body, and initiated the necessary legal formalities.
Authorities have launched an inquiry to ascertain the circumstances that led to the fall.
