DC Kishtwar reviews the progress of land acquisition  and execution of National Highway

KISHTWAR, AUGUST 12: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today convened a meeting of concerned Revenue Officers and NHIDCL authorities to review the progress of land acquisition and execution of work on National Highway (244).

Sub- Divisional Magistrate Chatroo, Inderjeet Parihar; DFO Kishtwar Sagar Singh, DFO Marwah Vijay Kumar, representative DFO Doda, General Manager NHIDCL, Praveen Ahlawat besides tehsildar Kishtwar Pramood Kumar and concerned officers remained present in the meeting.

The meeting discussed various issues and measures to ensure smooth and hassle-free land acquisition in the Kishtwar district. The DC directed Tehsildars Kishtwar and Chatroo to  expedite the acquisition-related process and ensure completion of the documentary work for the same in set timeline. Xen PWD Kishtwar and Chatroo besides concerned DFOs was asked to submit the assessment of the utilities coming in the alignment in his office.

He also asked concerned officers to maintain close coordination and work in tandem to facilitate the completion of projects of national importance. DC Kishtwar stressed the GM, NHIDCL to ensure the proper dumping and management of Muking Material during the execution work of the NH besides asked to ensure the implementation of all the guidelines and parameters in the execution and widening work of NH.

Furthermore, Tehsildar Kishtwar and Chatroo were asked to submit the data of pending Forest clearance so that same could be uploaded for the Parvesh portal.
