DC Kupwara inaugurates signature campaign for Child Line 1098

KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 21: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Anshul Garg today inaugurated the signature campaign for ChildLine 1098, a project supported by the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development, here at DC Office premises.

The aim of the signature campaign is to raise awareness on Child rights, care, and protection.

It was informed on the occasion that any person can dial toll-free number 1098 round the clock to help any missing children, abused children, runaway children, or children in need of medical assistance.

Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for holding such awareness campaigns in rural areas also.

Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone, Project Coordinator, Child Line, District Information Officer participated in the signature campaign.
