DC Ramban inspects arrangement for offline classes in schools

RAMBAN, MARCH 2:  Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, on Thursday visited various schools to take the stock of arrangements made by the Education Department and school administrations on reopening of schools for offline classes for all age groups.

Meanwhile, the Chief Education Officer, VK Koul, Principal MGHSS, Ramban, Kewal Krishan Sharma, Headquarter, GHS, Amzad Hussain and various other senior officers, staff welcomed the students in school for joining offline classes.

The DC directed CEO, ZEO and school administrations to ensure implementation of Covid SoPs in schools like social distancing, wearing of face masks, use of hand sanitizers and frequent hand washing.

The DC also interacted with the students and staff members besides taking first hand appraisal of arrangements in school for offline classes.  He also directed the Head of institutions to prepare a list of students who have not obtained PM SEHAT, AYUSHMAN Card yet and take up the matter with the CMO, Ramban for organizing a special   camp in school to register left out students under the scheme.

The DC advised the students in the age group 14 plus to take their second dose of Covid vaccination at the due time.

Responding to the issues projected by Heads of schools, the DC passed on the spot instructions to concerned officers to resolve the same on priority basis.

The DC directed the CEO, Municipal Council, Ramban to conduct a cleanliness and sanitation drive in the surrounding area of Model Higher Secondary School, and Girls High School, Ramban. The DC also directed the CEO to improve the drainage system which affects the school building and boundary walls.
