DC Ramban Mussarat Islam convenes public outreach camp at Neel- Parindhar
Asks officers to improve public service delivery system
RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 08: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today visited Neel- Parindhar and Chamalwas a far-flung area of Ramsoo Sub-division and listened to grievances of the people, besides assessing the developmental scenario and implementation of different social and financial assistance schemes in the area under the weekly public outreach programme.
En-route, the DC also inaugurated and inspected newly completed developmental works executed under the RDD sector. He urged the people to take vaccination and follow covid Appropriate Behaviour to avert a fresh surge in the infection.
Block Development Chairperson, Shafiq Ahmed; DDC Councilor, Bashir Naik; ACD Zamir Rishu; SDM Ramsoo Dilmir Choudhary; Chief Medical Officer Dr. Mohammad Fareed Bhat; BDO, Bashir-ul- Hasan; Executive Engineer of PMGSY and Jal Shakti, AD FCS&CA, Tehsildar Ramsoo, PRIs, and general public attended the public outreach camp.
Responding to the demand for the provision of ambulances in the Neel area, the Deputy Commissioner assured to take up the demand with concerned Health Authorities. He also assured up-gradation of Chamlawas -Neel road.
The DC directed the Chief Education Officer to take all necessary measures to increase enrollment in schools and improve literacy rates besides providing quality education to students of the area.
The DC also assured the people that their demand of CD Block for Neel will be taken up with concerned quarters. He directed all officers to improve the public service delivery mechanism of their respective departments to facilitate the people.
The DC urged the public to register for Ayushman SEHAT scheme to take the benefit of the universal health insurance scheme. He also motivated the youth to avail the various employment-oriented schemes including Mumkin & Tejaswani being implemented by the J&K government.
The DC directed Jal Shakti Department to ensure adequate potable water supply to the Neel area under JJM.
Earlier, BDC Chairperson, DDC Councilor, PRIs, and general public highlighted the demands and issues. The demanded adequate staff in schools and health institutions, up-gradation of High School Parindhar, completion of the road from Parindhar to Zaradi, construction of Footbridges, installation of street lights, the inclusion of Neel village with Ramsoo, up-gradation of power transformers, addition of names in ration cards, Degree College and Education Zone for Neel area.
After hearing the public issues the DC assured them early redressal of the same.
