DC Samba Anuradha Gupta reviews summer preparedness

SAMBA, APRIL 02: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta, today chaired a meeting and reviewed the preparedness for the upcoming summer season.

The meeting held in-depth deliberations on various short-term and medium-term measures initiated by the service provider departments for smooth and uninterrupted power supply, availability of drinking water, mass plantation drives, pollution control measures among other aspects of minimizing the public grievances during the summer season.

Besides, the several ongoing projects delayed on account of legal, arbitration, and other issues were also discussed in detail during the meeting. The Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to enhance their working capacity to meet the required deadlines. She stressed making the system robust so that every project created gives appropriate results.

 Additional Deputy Commissioner, Suram Chand Sharma, Chief Planning Officer, Sukhleen Kour, District Information officer Ajay Sharma, AD Food Safety, AD Food Supply, Xen Phe, Xen Pwd, Xen PDD  EO municipality, and other concerned officers and officials were also present.
