DDC reviews pace of progress on Capex budget, languishing projects, PMDP, B2V works
4 roads among 6 projects completed in 100 days at Kishtwar
KISHTWAR, AUGUST 31: District Administration Kishtwar has completed six projects, including 4 road projects in 100 day time- the deadline set for completion of these projects.
The district administration has set a 100 day deadline for a total 23 projects taken up at different places and at different dates. Six projects have been completed on completion of the deadline, which includes 3 roads under PMGSY and 1 under PWD, besides 2 science laboratories constructed at GHSS Boys and GHSS girls Kishtwar.
The information was given at a meeting held to review the progress of the execution of the ongoing developmental projects under Capex budget, languishing project and PMDP, B2V3 and other schemes chaired by District Development Commissioner Ashok Sharma, here today.
The meeting was attended byJoint Director Planning Mohammad Iqbal; Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch; Chief Education Officer, Rashpal Singh Chauhan; Executive Engineer PHE Anil Kaylu; Executive Engineer REW Mohammad Aslam lone, besides other officials.
At the outset, the Joint Director Planning informed about the physical and financial status of the various developmental works undertaken by the various Indenting and executing agencies under the Capex budget, languishing, PMDP, B2V3 and other schemes.
While reiterating the deadline set in the previous meeting, the DDC reviewed the target achieved in the tendering process and allotments on various works.
He stressed all the concerned indenting departments to complete the tendering process in the Sub-Division Dachhan Marwah- Warwan and Paddar on priority basis.
The chair was apprised that the work in these sub Divisions have been tendered and work is going on at a fast pace to meet the timeline.
The DDC exhorted upon all the concerned officers to ensure the full utilisation of the District Capex funds and avoid the surrendering of the same as it shall be viewed seriously. He stressed to ensure the completion of projects under PMDP and B2V3 as per the timeline in the DPR.
Meanwhile Xen PHE was directed to route the estimates through ACD Kishtwar for grant of AAA for the works under B2V3 by tomorrow besides he was asked to ensure submission of all estimates along with technical sanctions by next Friday.
On the issue of the punctuality of employees, the DC directed all the heads of departments to monitor the same and take stringent action against the erring officers.
