Delhi ministers Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain resign from their posts in state Cabinet

28-02-2023 : Today, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, who were under arrest, have resigned from the Delhi cabinet. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accepted their resignations and is expected to conduct a cabinet reshuffle to induct new ministers. Manish Sisodia, who managed 18 ministries, including the health department headed by Satyendar Jain, has stepped down.

The resignations came after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) raised questions about why detained leaders were still serving in the Delhi government. The Delhi cabinet now has five ministers, including Mr. Kejriwal.
