Delhi University Revises PG Admission Schedule 2026, Candidates Get More Time for Seat Acceptance

DU updates third round postgraduate admission timeline under CSAS-PG system; document verification and fee payment deadlines revised

New Delhi: Delhi University has revised the schedule for the third round of postgraduate admissions for the academic year 2026-27, providing candidates additional time to complete admission formalities under the Common Seat Allocation System for Postgraduate programmes (CSAS-PG).

According to the revised schedule, candidates who have been allotted seats in the third round are required to accept their seats by July 13. The university has also updated deadlines related to document verification and payment of admission fees.

The changes were announced after adjustments in the admission process linked to the allocation of supernumerary quota seats. University officials said the revised timeline would help ensure a smoother admission process for applicants.

Candidates Advised to Complete Formalities on Time

Students who have received seat allotments have been advised to log in to the official admission portal and complete all required steps within the given timeframe.

The admission process includes accepting the allotted seat, uploading necessary documents, completing verification procedures and paying the required fees.

Officials have also indicated that additional admission rounds may be conducted depending on seat availability after the completion of the current phase.

UG Admissions Continue Alongside PG Process

While postgraduate admissions are underway, Delhi University is also continuing its undergraduate admission process for the 2026-27 academic year.

Thousands of students across the country are participating in the admission cycle through the university’s online system, making timely completion of procedures important for securing seats.

The university has urged applicants to regularly check official notifications to avoid missing important deadlines.
