Dhurandhar Box Office Day 25: Ranveer Singh’s Film Crosses ₹1,081 Crore Globally, Becomes Highest Grossing Hindi Film in India
Spy-Thriller Drama Continues Strong Run Despite New Releases, Eyes Jawan’s Lifetime Record
Mumbai, Dec 30 : Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has entered the elite ₹1,000 crore club, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan lifetime collection of ₹1,069.85 crore in just 24 days. On its 25th day, the spy-thriller drama earned approximately ₹10.5 crore domestically, taking its total Indian box office tally to ₹701 crore. Globally, the film has amassed ₹1,081 crore, cementing its position as the highest-grossing Hindi film ever in India, according to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk.
On Monday, Dhurandhar recorded an overall occupancy of 21.27% across theatres, with morning shows at 11.98%, afternoon shows at 25.17%, and evening shows at 26.67%. In Delhi NCR, the film registered 21% occupancy across 1,059 shows, while Mumbai saw 20.67% occupancy across 851 shows. The film has earned over ₹20 crore in its fourth week alone.
The film continues its strong performance despite competition from new releases like Tu Meri Main Tera starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, and Avatar: Ash and Fire. In terms of domestic box office, Dhurandhar still trails only behind Pushpa 2: The Rule (₹800 crore), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (₹1,030.42 crore), KGF: Chapter 2 (₹859.7 crore), and RRR (₹782.2 crore).
The action-packed ensemble cast includes Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun. Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film released on December 5. Fans can look forward to Dhurandhar 2, scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, 2026.
