DIET Udhampur organises 5-day online teaching training for Science subject

UDHAMPUR, JUNE 15: To enhance and upgrade the teaching skills and competence of teachers to teach the Science subject, the District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) is organizing a five-day online training program for around 100 teachers of the district, from June 15 till June 19, 2021, under the overall supervision and guidance of DIET Principal, Sikander Lal.

 Teachers of around eleven zones of the district are taking part in the online training program.

While inaugurating the training program through virtual mode, the DIET Principal underlined the importance of the training program in terms of developing understanding interest, attitudes, and skills which would enable the teachers to foster all-around growth and development of the students under his care.

DIET Principal hoped that the trainees would leave no stone unturned in getting the maximum benefit which ultimately would help in developing rational thinking and efficient decision making among the pupils who are residing in the far-flung and inaccessible areas of the district.

Kiran Devi H.O.D, Rajesh Sharma, Sr. Lecturer, Dr. Mulkh Raj Bamagee, Lecturer, Rashpal Singh Sr. Lecturer, and Nikhil Rathore are acting as Program In-charge, Program Coordinator, Assistant Program Coordinator, Technical Expertise and Technical Assistant respectively.

Azra Zeenat,  Mohinder Paul, Prinkya Khajuria, and V.D Sharma are acting as Resource Persons. Atual Kashyap Sr. Lecturer and Atual Prashar Sr. Lecturer will be the Special Resource Persons.
