Director Command Area Development Jammu Rajinder Singh Tara conducted tour of District Udhampur .

01-04-2021: Sh. Rajinder Singh Tara (KAS), Director CAD Conducted an Extensive tour of Udhampur District. He conducted a tour of Panchayat Kashira, Charri, Kawa lower, Kawa upper, and thanoa. He interacted with Sarpanches and Panches about the command area development activities.

The sarpanches and Panches discussed in detail the problems being faced by the farmers of the area regarding water logging in the area and also demanded construction of field channels so that the available water can be better used for the farming activities.

The director instructed ASCO supwal to survey and make a detailed report of the works to be taken to mitigate the problems of the farmers. Chief Agriculture officer CAD Sh. Sanjay Verma and ASCO supwal Sh. Sham Gupta accompanied the director on the tour.
