Director SHD reviews departmental activities in Udhampur District

JAMMU, JUNE 03: Director, Sheep Husbandry, Jammu, Krishan Lal on Friday visited District Udhampur to review the activities and implementation of Departmental programs in the district. He also interacted with Sheep & Goat breeders at Sudh Mahadev and Darsoo and informed the public and PRIs about the schemes launched by the Department for the welfare of the people.

During the tour programme, he also visited the Units established last year under ISDS and RKVY schemes and interacted with the beneficiaries. He inspected the Sheep Unit of Darshan at  Basht (10+1 Ewes Unit), Jano of Kohsar (25+1 Does Unit),   Bharat Singh at Dursoo (25+1 Does Unit) and   at Dansoo (10+1 Does Unit).

The public brought a number of issues to the notice of the Director, who gave them a patient hearing and also assured that their genuine demands shall be met in a time bound manner.

During the visit he was accompanied by Dr. Anil Kumar Kaul, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Udhampur.
