Doma Confederation held a candle march and demanded arrest of all officers mentioned in ADGP Y Puran Kumar suicide note

Jammu:14.10.2025: DOMA (Dalit, OBC, Minority, Adivasis) Confederation, J&K, paid tribute to Haryana IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar, who, in his suicide note on October 10, 2025, accused 15 senior officials, including the Haryana Director General of Police (DGP), the Rohtak Superintendent of Police (SP), and the Chief Secretary, of persecuting him in the name of caste.

Doma stands with his family and supports all the demands made by the deceased’s wife, Amneet (IAS), and her family. The DOMA Confederation organized a candle march from Bahu Plaza to Ambedkar Chowk, Jammu, to pay tribute to Y. Puran Kumar.

Paying tribute to Y. Puran Kumar, DOMA State President R.K. Kalsotra said that insulting Dalits and Baba Sahib Ambedkar has become fashionable these days. The police often don’t file reports, and even if they do file reports after an outcry, they don’t take action. Numerous cases remain pending in Jammu, which is also a significant problem. The society will have to remain united on these issues, and the struggle will have to continue until the people named in the case, including are arrested.
Kalsotra further said that on 30 Nov. 2025, Doma gave a call for the Maharally to be held at Ramleela Maidan. New Delhi, wherein, along with the issue of save constitution, save democracy, and saving fundamental rights and this particular issue will also be raised.
