Dr. Farooq meets public delegations in Jammu, assures swift redressal of issues

Jammu, 29 Jan: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Thursday met scores of public delegations in Jammu who apprised him of various issues and concerns.

During the interactions, Dr. Farooq listened attentively to the grievances and assured the delegations of swift redressal by taking up their concerns with the concerned ministers and departments for prompt action.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Farooq said that despite being under a Union Territory setup, the elected government led by Omar Abdullah has been making rapid strides across every sphere of life. 

He highlighted initiatives such as free transport for women, increased availability of ration, enhancement of social welfare pension amounts, the restoration of the Darbar Move, timely response to natural calamities, provision of round-the-clock utility services, accountability measures and the promotion of inclusive development.

Dr. Farooq emphasised that the government’s focus remains on ensuring the welfare of every citizen, strengthening public services and fostering holistic development across all the regions. He reiterated his commitment to remain accessible to the public and to work tirelessly for addressing their genuine concerns.
