Dr. Farooq visits bereaved family of former DGP Ghulam Jeelani Pandit

Srinagar, 23 Sept: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah Tuesday visited the residence of the late Ghulam Jeelani Pandit, former Director General of Police (DGP), who passed away recently at Rajbagh. Expressing heartfelt condolences, Dr. Farooq offered Fatiha for the departed soul and prayed for eternal peace to the deceased and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

He was accompanied by Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Mr. Nasir Aslam Wani. Women’s Wing Provincial President Er. Sabiya Qadri and other prominent individuals were also present on the occasion to pay their respects.

Later, Dr. Farooq visited Lal Chowk, where he interacted with a number of local traders. During his visit, he listened to their concerns and assured them of his support in addressing the challenges faced by the business community.
