Ekal Vidhyalaya protests against barbaric act of terrorism in Dangri

BANI,05-01-2023 : Ekal Vidyalaya Bani today staged a protest against the barbaric act of terrorism, perpetrated by Pakistan in Dangri area of Rajouri district, taking six precious human lives including two minor children.

Members of Ekal Vidhyalaya criticized Pakistan for pursuing a policy of hostility against India and harboring terrorists on its soil. They said that Pakistan, which has failed to provide democracy and development to its people, is making every effort to disturb peace in Jammu and Kashmir. They said that no nefarious act of the enemy would be allowed to succeed.

The protesters urged the Central Government to take strict action against the terrorists responsible for this massacre. They also demanded suitable ex-gratia relief to the dependents of the deceased and demanded proper relief to the injured.

They further appealed to the Central Government to take strict action against the anti-national forces as well as against the neighboring country Pakistan so that such acts are not repeated in future. Besides, they also demanded that the Village Defence Committees (VDCs) should be strengthened by giving weapons to them for the safety of the people residing in rural areas.

Among those who staged the protest include Ajab Singh, Anchal, Adikesh, Adikesh Thakur, Lekhraj, Sundaram, Mangat Ram, Gramsorjiamanch and Ashok Kumar, Anshal Abhiyan Parmukh.
