Election Commission Intervention Sought: AICC Coordinator Flags Affidavit Discrepancies of 5-Jammu Parliament Constituency Candidate

Jammu, April 25: Mr. Naresh Kumar  Gupta AICC Observer/Coordinator   5-Jammu Parliament Constituency addressed a press conference regarding contrary & mismatch details in the affidavits in 2019 and 2024 by Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma-MP. Mr Sharma has filed his nomination papers in 2019 where he has deposed that he is one of the partners of  Himgri Infrastructure Dev. Co. along with Mrs. Mamta Singh W/O Mr. Nirmal Singh and Mr. Kavinder Gupta, they sought 29 crores of lone facility from J&K Bank against the work for construction of 3 Mega Wall Power Mini Project in Chamba Distt of Himachal Pradesh.

They drew the last installment amount of Rs.4 Crore, on August 16 and got then declared as NPA. The H.P. Govt.  recalled/canceled the allotment order.

Previously Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma has disclosed his liability 34  crore,  and now in 2024, the said MP deposed liability of only Rs. 20 Lac without annexing any NOC from the Bank. Wherefrom he has cleared his liability.

Since the chief Election Commission has circulated communication valuable voter has the authority and the right to know about your candidate.

This issue has been circulated/viral at a large scale level, but the RO/CEO has not taken any cognizance about the issue.

We request the Chief Election Commission of India to get the matter investigated through some agency about contrary deposition, which is no mismatch between two affidavits about the liability how it has been reduced from 34 crore to 20 lac only in 5 years.

ECI should direct the police to lodge an FIR in this issue, said Mr. Gupta.
