Action to stop Indus water should be taken on war footing: Sahni
Jammu, 28-04-2025 – The people of the entire country, including Jammu and Kashmir, want to see Pakistan severely punished for its misdeeds and want it to crave for every drop of water, stated by Manish Sahni, president of the Shiv Sena UBT Jammu and Kashmir unit.
While briefing the media at the Jammu Party State Central Office today, state chief Manish Sahni has demanded that in the special session of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, the ruling and opposition parties should pass a resolution to teach Pakistan a tough lesson for its insolence, as well as ensure the safety of Kashmiri Pandits. Sahni said that according to the information received from intelligence agencies, terrorist organizations are planning to target Kashmiri Pandits with nefarious intentions. After which, there is an atmosphere of panic among Kashmiri Pandits. Once again, Kashmiri Pandits have turned towards Jammu.
Sahni has demanded moral support and ensured the security of Kashmiri Pandits and passed a resolution with unity to teach Pakistan such a strong lesson that its future generations too do not dare to commit any insolence against India.
Along with this, Sahni appealed to the central government to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty at the ground level and demanded to explore other options, including building dams on a war footing.
