ASN bids farewell to outgoing students

Jammu, February 04: A.S.N.Hr.Sec.School, Channi Himmat today bid farewell to its outgoing 12th class students. The farewell party was organized by the students of 9th & 11th Class for the students of 10th & 12th Class those are going to appear in their board examinations.

Mrs. Rashim Anand, Motivational Speaker and Entrepreneur was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Mr. Ritesh Kapoor, Administrator of the school was the Guest of Honour.

The programme started with presentation of bouquets to the guests followed by lamp lighting and presentation of welcome address by the students of 11th Class.

Various cultural programmes and games were played like Musical Chair, Mimic the dialogue, Blow up the balloons, Push-ups, Mimic the teachers and winners were awarded likewise. Tohieed Nissar of 12th Class wins the Musical Chair Round for boys, Palak Sharma of 12th Class wins the Musical Round for Girls, Nousia Banoo of 12th Class wins Mimic the dialogue, Shradha & Tanuj of 12th Class wins in Blow the balloon game, Krishna of 12th Class wins in push-ups round, Rashid of 10th Class wins in Mimic the Teacher game.

Sidrat-ul-Muntaha of 12th Class wins “Miss Pretty” title, Sagar of 10th Class wins “Mr. Handsom” title while Dhanvi Sharma of 12th Class wins “Ms ASN” title and Arshpal Singh wins “Mr ASN” title.

The entire programme was co-ordinated by Mrs. Ravneet Kour, Ms. Shafia Khan & Ms Subha Gupta teachers of the school.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Rashim Anand appreciated the efforts put in by the faculty for the conduct of the programme and congratulated the students for their future prospects. She said schools are the platforms for child’s learnings & development for which teachers play major role and ASN School doing it to the utmost. She added that if we try to be in comfortable zone always then life becomes uncomfortable later on and if we are doing hard work and struggle towards success then journey of life becomes comfortable.

Mr. Ritesh Kapoor lauded the role of the teachers in the making of the child. He said it’s the bond the school develops with the child in the couple of years the child spends the time in the school and this farewell becomes emotional for the school management & faculty to bid goodbye to its outgoing students. He added that every morning comes with lots of challenges and every evening gives us one experience; so learning attitude should always be opted in life to become real successful.

The programme ended with distribution to gifts and prizes to the winners followed by cutting of cake and presentation of vote of thanks by 9th Class students.
